Conversations Day 31

Allowing

It is ever possible to everything done that you want to? I'm not sure you really can. All you can do is to continue along your way and see what happens.

The web site is almost ready! I am really excited about not only what it can do but also what I can now do to keep it updated. Recognising that my website was now 5 years old meant that it was started to look a little patched together, probably a bit like my first car!

Anyway, I have also been looking at the art of Allowing over the past week, if not over the past 15 years.

I have spoken to a number of people over the last few weeks who have told me that they haven't picked up more work lately or that their relationship has finished.

As they have asked me for my thoughts, I seem to find myself saying the same thing. Allow and see what happens. In this way, miracles occur.

So I have been putting this into practice myself and I am finding that new doors are waiting there and even though I cannot see past it yet, I know that things are just about to happen.

So if things are taking a while to progress, my advice is to work your but off to make a difference AND to allow what ever new opportunities to present themselves to show up.

Today's random inspiration card:
What would happen to your life if you received the answers to the questions you have been asking?

How apt!

In short, simply allow miracles to occur.

Until next time,

Barry

Conversations Day 23

A New website

Well, its a week since my last blog. I don't know about you, but time seems to be speeding up! One of the things I have learnt is that I simply cannot complete everything so it is always a matter of prioritizing.

Since last week, I have emailed over 100 people individually following up from thje CEO Space conference. So as to not just sent emails off blindly, I looked up each person in the register before sending an email so I could remember who they were. In this way, it felt more personal as I sent each email accross.

I have also put the entire newsletter on the website at

http://www.conversationsthegame.com.au/Conversations-newsletter-no-22.pdf

Please let me know if you wish to be on the mailing list for further newsletters that come out every 4 - 6 weeks.

It has also been apparaent that a new website is needed. You can watch the progress of it at http://www.conversationsthegame.com.au/newsite-tempfolder

Please let me know on the fan page what you think of it or any other suggestions. You can become a fan at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Conversations-the-game/235792861563?ref=nf and start having a Conversation that matters!

Hopefully the links will work this time. i just saw the button to make sure it links.

Finally thought I would but in today's inspiration card from the game for people to comment on...

To make changes in your life, be more aware of everything that is happening around you

Well that's enough for today. Enjoy life!

Conversations Day 15

Conversations: An Inspirational Newsletter no 22

Today i did a newsletter and updated up data base. So here is the first part ...

Welcome to the first Conversations newsletter that is now for general distribution and not just for the facilitators. So after 21 newsletters, I have decided to go public so that you may gain the benefits of what is happening in the Conversations community.

The reason that this is now a public newsletter is that I have just returned from Las Vegas where I attended a forum and trade show called CEO Space. My initial expectation was this was going to be another American ra-ra show. Yet when I looked at their web site at www.ceospace.net, As TV Guru Molly Meldrum used to say here in Australia, "Do yourself a favour and check it out". It is a new business model founded on cooperation rather than competition and that its values were so closely aligned with Conversations that I decided to go.

During the conference, my 30 second elevator speech, called a snap, became:

Hi. I'm Barry from Australia and I am the creator of this extraordinary Conversations game about relationships. The problem with relationships is that, despite technological improvements, we are not really connecting to one another. My dream is that every family and organisation around the world experiences for themselves this heart-felt connection. In short, Conversations transforms relationships. I am after people to play the game at home and also those who feel attracted to become general and corporate facilitators. Who do you know?

As a result, I see that there are now many opportunities for all of us to grow in terms of personal development and right livelihood. I will be going back in March to continue the process and if anyone else is interested in going, then please contact me and I will see what we can do in terms of getting a group discount.

Included in this newsletter are topics on:

What's new ... Conversations blog and facebook fan page
Sabotage Clearing and Goal Enhancement ... create a new start in 2010
Taking Conversations to the next level
Generating Extra Income ... just by eating chocolate
Corporate Facilitation Training ... changing how businesses do business
Phone game ... want to experience Conversations for yourself
Transformational Workshops in 2010 ... around the world
Barry's whereabouts ... and contact details

So sit back and enjoy all the latest from Conversations and more...

Conversations Day 15

Time to set up a fan page on face book.

Why? With over 300 million users of facebook, and a great way to allow people to start to have real conversations and connect to one another rather than chatting about who's done what to whom.

My intent for the fan page is to eventually have it interactive and have a Conversatsions game being played 27/7 around the world.

Ok. Let's start. I already have a home page that I use to keep track of where my children are. Actually as of today, one is in the USA, one in Bali and one in New Zealand. The world is fast becoming a local backyard for them.

Once you’ve logged in to Facebook, scroll to the bottom and click on Advertising. Then click Pages and Create a Page. There are all there... you just have to find the buttons.

Now select the type of business you own and start filling in all the details. I went for Conversations the game in Brand, Product, or Organization, and the create the page.

Now I have uploaded a picture that looks a bit user friendly. I don't want to scare people away by looking like an ad. Next some text about the game. Now that's done, the time is about putting some photos in for people to see. Not sure how to group the photos so will put in one at a time to begin with.

Finally thought I would but in today's inspiration card from the game for people to comment on...

There is enough

Well that's enough for today. Enjoy life!

Conversations Day 14

Actually I see this as the real Day 1

Its been 2 weeks but with Christmas and the new year, today has been the first real day "back at work"

The key difference starting today is that I see myself heading a business that will grow internationally. What I have learnt over the last month is that despite major increases in technology, the way we really communicate with one another has actually decreased.

The purpose of Conversations is to transform the way relationships occur... one person at a time.

I leant more about this at CEO Space. For me, CEO Space is about cooperation rather than competition. It is about applying the laws of attraction in a way that really does create win-win situations for all. If you have not yet looked at CEO Space, check it out at www.ceospace.net

Today was a day of thank you's. I have been grateful for the 20 or so presenters that have supported my knowledge and marketing skills. So it was important that the first real day back was spent acknowledging all the wonderful people who gave so much in such a short period of time.

One of the best ways I have found to allow more in my life is to be grateful. What I often use is a gratitude journal where I write 20 things I am grateful for in the day. The idea is to always extend your list beyong what is easy. I even get to be grateful for the shop keeper that serves me at the local store.

I have also been getting ready for my next newsletter which will be out this week. Unlike past newsletters that have gone to facilitators only, this will be more public to allow others to see what is actually happening with Conversations. Part of being more public and accountable.

Have also started talking to other people who I know would really benefit from CEO Space and am looking forward to a group of us Aussies attending en masse at future conferences.

Finally, I also went through some of my notes today and want to share some key statements that I had jotted down...

"Change begins in language." Alex Mandossin

"Greatness is not a destiny. It is a choice" Les Brown

"Need repels Capital" Berny Dohrmann

"My job is to expand my capacity not just where I am but where I am going" Lisa Nichols

I am excited about what will appear as a result of the changes I am putting into place.

With those wonderful quotes, there is no need for an inspirational card today.
